My sneaker works are on ongoing project that exists in parallel with other areas of my practice. They have provided a consistent outlet for creative experimentation while serving as a meaningful connection to the street culture of my childhood in 1980’s and 1990’s Brooklyn.

As objects, sneakers possess unique sculptural qualities and sit at a wide intersection of material, design, fashion and movement.  Many of these works are commission based, which adds an element of collaboration that enriches the creative process and deepens the final result.
